My grandson goes to Gorkha High School, and I’m glad he’s getting a good education right here in Gorkha. The school respects our traditions and teaches the kids about our history as Gorkhas. He won a prize in a running race last sports day, and we were all so proud. The only problem is the water supply—it’s not always reliable for the students.

The best thing about Gorkha High School is how the teachers encourage us to work hard for the SLC exams. I joined the science stream, and the labs are pretty good for experiments. We had a field trip to Gorkha Durbar last month, which was amazing since it’s so close. Sometimes the classrooms feel too crowded, though—more space would be nice.

My son has been studying at Gorkha High School for three years, and I’m so happy with the progress he’s made. The teachers are very supportive and focus on both studies and discipline. Last year, he participated in a debate competition organized by the school, and it really boosted his confidence. I just wish they had a bigger library—sometimes he struggles to find extra books for his projects.

My daughter started at Gorkha High School last year, and I’ve seen a big change in her. She used to be shy, but now she loves talking about what she learns, especially Nepali literature. The school fees are reasonable, and they even helped us with a small scholarship. I’d love it if they added more computer classes—kids need those skills these days.
